Fear Not The Firefighting Dog

  I know that their might be a few of us that are limited in the activities that we can do with the Fire Service.  Some may have physical difficulties while others are able to go gung ho at the Fire Scene. Take me for an example, I was hit by a car 39 years ago but I still have a love for the Fire Service. I feel that I can still serve in the fire service by showing others that I have compassion for them.
  I started dressing as the Fire Dog for the Fire prevention Commitee in the county that I live in. A lot of people asked me to come to birthday parties and other events that a lot of children would be at. I bought my own Fire Dog Costume and started a Childrens Ministry. I go to schools,Churches and parades to promote Fire Prevention to Children.
 Today,at the parade that I rode in as the Fire dog, it blessed my heart to see a small town have the show of Spirit for America, that was shown. Flags were on almost each vehicle, on each telephone pole through town and a great number of the participents in the parade were waving American Flags.
  After the Parade, I was walking up the street and just about each of the little children were yelling for the Fire Dog. All of them wanted to shake hands with "Fear Not",the Firefighting Dog.

God Bless you and
God Bless America!

Fire Dog Wear Coming Soon!!!

A message from "Fear Not", the Firefighting Dog There are two types of Firefighters. The one that we think of most often is the Earthly Firefighter that rides on the Fire Truck and responds to House and other fires that usally cause damage to life and property. The other type of Firefighter is the Christian Firefighter that is to start fires in the hearts of every individul that they come into contact with and we are to keep these fires burning at all times. Let me give you some tips on how to protect you and your family from the dangers of the fires that will hurt you. 1 Install Smoke Detectors in your home. Test them each month. 2 Plan and practice exit escape plans from your house in the event of fire. 3 Learn how to call the local Fire Department or emergency response numbers. 4 Have a Family meeting place to make sure that every one is safe. Talk with the FireMen at your local Fire department about Home safety.

Now I would like to tell you some things that we need to know as Christian firefighters. When The LORD led the Children of Isreal to the Promised Land, He led them as a Cloud by day and a Piller of Fire by night.

Hebrews 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.

1 Thessalonians 5:19 NIV Do not put out the Spirit's fire;

James 3:5-6 instructs us that we are to control our tongues because what we say can lead to evil.

In Matthew 25:40-41 we learn that if we do not accept Jesus Christ as our LORD and Savior, we will be cast into the "Lake of Fire".which refers to hell.

As we close this message I plead with each and everyone of you to confess your sin and accept the LORD, Jesus Christ into your Hearts to be LORD of your life.

Thank You and God Bless You! "Fear Not", the Firefighting Dog Aka Chaplain Gerald E. Brock
